SocalHairCo ("we", "us") operates socalhairco.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have, including your rights as a California resident.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone and shipping address when you order; your account details (name, email, encrypted password), saved shades and favorites; and any messages you send us.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe and, if you choose them, by Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm or other methods offered at checkout. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: cookies needed for your bag, your sign-in and your language, and server logs (such as your IP address) used to keep the site secure.
- Shade matcher: the photo you use is processed on your own phone or computer and is not uploaded to our servers.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and follow up on your orders.
- To run your account, saved shades and order history.
- To answer your questions and provide customer service.
- To send marketing emails only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in every email.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the store: payment processors (Stripe and the method you choose at checkout), shipping carriers that deliver your order, our email service, and our web host. We may also share information when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising based on your activity on other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting laws require. Account information is kept while your account is active or until you ask us to delete it.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, email customercare@socalhairco.com. We'll verify your identity before responding.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords and certified payment processors. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
